ABOUT US

Perinatal North was created to provide Canadian health care providers and child-bearing families with new and creative perinatal resources, and access to educational courses.

Our mission is to play a role in improving the quality and accessibility of prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and newborn care throughout our fine country, with a particular focus on rural, remote and northern health.

We respectfully acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional and unceded territories of many Indigenous Nations across Canada. We recognize and honour the knowledge, cultural practices and sovereignty of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit people.

We are committed to upholding the principles of equity, inclusion and anti-discrimination. Oppression in its many forms continues to impact individuals and communities across Canada. We strive to create a safe and inclusive safe that affirms the dignity of all people.
